Privacy policy
Effective: 4 November 2026
We care about keeping your data safe. This notice explains briefly and clearly what personal data we handle through this website, what we use it for, how long we keep it and what your rights are.
1Who handles your data?
The data controller is the operator of Beach Cafe Lounge.

When you fill in the quote form, we receive the following details: name, e-mail address, phone number, type of event, planned date or period, number of guests and your message.
- Purpose: to prepare a quote and get in touch with you.
- Legal basis: your consent and steps prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and (b)).
- Retention: up to 1 year if no agreement is made. If one is, for as long as contract and accounting laws require.
3Newsletter

- Purpose: sending news, events and offers.
- Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Retention: until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time with a short e-mail, after which we delete your address.
4Contacting us by e-mail or phone
If you e-mail or call us, we only use your contact details and message to answer your question, and keep them for up to 1 year unless it leads to a booking.
5Photos and videos at the venue
Photos and videos may be taken at our events and venue, which we may use ethically for promotion (e.g. website, social media) as set out in our house rules. If you would rather not appear in an image we have published, write to us and we will remove it.
6Cookies and third-party services
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts are loaded from our own server. Your browser only remembers, for the current session, whether you collapsed the bottom quick-action bar; this never leaves your device and is cleared when you close the browser.
The Contact page contains an embedded Google Map. When it loads, Google may receive data (such as your IP address) and set cookies under its own privacy policy. The Facebook, Instagram and TikTok icons are plain links: you only interact with these services if you click them.
7Technical data and security
For operation and security, the hosting provider's server logs technical data about visits (e.g. IP address, time, browser type). To prevent abuse of the forms, we store IP addresses only in encrypted (hashed) form, for no longer than 1 hour.
8Who can access the data?
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing. Access is limited to our hosting provider, whose server runs the website, and our e-mail provider (Google), through which submitted messages reach us. Both handle the data only to provide their service.
9What are your rights?
- You can ask what data we hold about you and request a copy.
- You can ask us to correct or delete your data, or to restrict its use.
- You can object to the processing and ask for your data in a machine-readable format.
- You can withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
Send your request to the e-mail address below and we will reply within one month at the latest.
10Complaints
If you feel we have breached your data protection rights, please contact us first so we can put it right. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) or go to court.
